Polarizer & Depolarizer

When the light is obliquely incidentified, the s,p spectra are separated due to the difference in effective admittance, and the concept of polarization separation δ is introduced to describe the degree of separation. Plate polarizers or PBS(polarizing beamsplitter prism) can divide the incident non-polarized light into two perpendicular linearly polarized beams. where P-polarized light passes through, while S-polarized light is reflected and the exit direction is at an angle of 90 degrees to the P light.
